Introduction of COVID-Secure Procedures
From Monday 3 August, the following changes will apply:

Planning Your Visit
From Monday 3 August, until further notice, the museum will be open from Monday to Friday inclusive from 10 am to 5 pm, closed Saturday and Sunday.
To comply with our COVID-Secure Procedures, all visitors must pre-book a time slot for one of two daily sessions:
- Morning – 10 am – 1 pm or
- Afternoon – 2 pm – 5 pm

If you have not already done so, please visit our COVID-Secure Procedures page before making your booking.
Each time slot permits entry to a maximum of 4 persons under a single name. If your party is larger than 4, up to a maximum of 8, you may book a second time slot under the same name but you must all be from the same family group/social bubble.
We are unable to accept group visits at the present time.

* Children (16 or under) must be accompanied by an adult.

Audio Guides
Audio guides are not available until further notice. Hall Stewards will be positioned in the display halls and hangars to provide information about the displays.

Dogs
Only assistance dogs are permitted in the Museum buildings. All dogs are allowed in the grounds and picnic area
Directions to Tangmere Museum
Tangmere Military Aviation Museum lies approximately three miles East of Chichester in West Sussex and is clearly signposted from the A27.
By Car
Approach from the A27 where the museum and Tangmere are clearly signposted from both directions. The Museum lies just outside Tangmere village and there is ample free parking.
☞ By Bus
The 55 bus from Chichester Bus Station runs every half hour (at ten past and twenty to the hour) and stops at Meadow Way, Tamar Way in Tangmere village, approximately 10 minutes walk from the Museum.
