One of the items most regularly contributed to the Museum are photographs taken by our many friends and supporters. Some are contemporary, others date back many years but nearly all are fascinating and depict some aspect of aviation important to the photographer at the time. All too often space limits our ability to exhibit them and so to mark our Silver Jubilee year the Museum is launching its own Jubilee Photo Album.
This is a new feature to the website in which we are inviting you to contribute aviation pictures you have taken and want to share with others. It is not a competition, there will be no judging and there are no prizes. It is simply your opportunity to let others see some of the images you have captured. They can have been taken anywhere and at anytime, we just ask that you affirm that they were taken by yourself or attribute them to the photographer – e.g. ‘taken by my late father when he served in XXX squadron during WW2’ – and that you provide a few basic details to go with them. All entries must be submitted as Email attachments.
