On Tuesday 20 July, the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum hosted a visit by 25 members of the Hawker Association to celebrate the anniversary of the maiden flight of the prototype Hawker Hunter, WB188.
The Association’s visit began in the Neville Duke Hall where members heard presentations by former Hawker staff members Heinz Frick, Chris Roberts, Dick Poole and Kieron Kirk.
After lunch in the Museum’s Cockpit Café, the group assembled in the Merston Hall to watch a short film to celebrate WB188’s 70th birthday and have a photograph with WB188 as the backdrop.
