The Museum is enjoying its best ever year. More visitors have been to the Museum than ever before. Particularly pleasing is the increase in numbers of younger people visiting, and our School Summer Holiday advertising campaign seems to have been very effective in reaching families. Part of this campaign involved local radio ads which included the sound track of a Merlin engine roaring past. One listener, who happened to be passing the Museum in his open topped car at the time it was airing, actually ducked and looked up to see where the plane had gone!
