Once again the Museum had a Stand at the excellent RAFA display held at Shoreham Airport on the weekend of September 15 and 16, though a very sad shadow was cast over events when the Hurricane piloted by Brian Brown crashed during the Saturday display. We always enjoy the opportunity to meet aviation enthusiasts from across the country and abroad who come to our Stand and often have interesting tales to tell us of their service days and/or recollections of Tangmere during its RAF service.
The Tangmere Museum has 3 computer-controlled Flight Simulators for visitors to ‘fly’.
From 19 July 2021 until further notice, face coverings must be worn when using the flight simulators.
