On April 1st 1918 the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) officially became the Royal Air Force (RAF). Coincidentally RAF Tangmere was created and the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum will be celebrating this important event with a special weekend event – The RAF Tangmere Jubilee Weekend – on July 26th and 27th. We are planning on a flying display on both days plus numerous other attractions. Further details will be published nearer the time.
All our Flight Simulators are closed until further notice
The Tangmere Museum has 3 computer-controlled Flight Simulators for visitors to ‘fly’.
