Polish And Czech Pilot Booklet

April, 2017

To support this summer’s temporary exhibition at the Museum on Polish and Czech fighter pilots from 22 July until 3 September, the Museum has recently published a booklet entitled, ‘Polish and Czech Pilots in Sussex’.

In addition to detailing the presence in Sussex of the Polish and Czech squadrons during the Second World War, the booklet covers how fighter pilots from these two countries made their way to England, how they were trained by the RAF and provides detail of the wartime careers of some of the Polish and Czech fighter aces.

The booklet is now available for purchase from the Museum’s shop, price £2.
