The Museum’s Hawker Hunter MkF5, WP190, is displayed carrying the Suez campaign yellow and black striping that it wore when it flew combat air patrols over the canal in 1956. Now we have introduced a new continuous video presentation telling the story of that campaign and this is sited alongside WP190 in the Meryl Hansed Memorial Hall. Running for appx 10 minutes it is packed with information and film of the times. Make sure you stop by when you next visit us.
The Tangmere Museum has 3 computer-controlled Flight Simulators for visitors to ‘fly’.
