Goodwood Vintage Fly-in and Air Display

May, 2008

Preparations are well in hand for The Museum’s participation in the two day Goodwood Vintage Fly-in and Air Display which will take place over the Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday May 25th and Monday 26th at Goodwood Airfield. As well as a brand new static photographic exhibition about the Museum in our marquee we will be selling a wide range of merchandise from the Museum shop, including the new Tangmere Military Aviation Museum car stickers, and inviting visitors to sit in our Hawker Hunter cockpit which will be parked alongside. The display promises to be a major event with a four hour flying display scheduled for each day. Over 100 vintage aircraft, including Spitfires, Mustangs, a squadron of WW1 replica biplanes and a Hawker Hunter are expected to attend each day. More details of the event can be found on the Goodwood website .
