The Museum recently had a visit from one of Britain’s leading aviation artists; Michael Turner. Michael was at the Museum to collect his two paintings recently exhibited at our successful Aviation Art Exhibition held during August.
One the paintings Michael submitted was of the Hawker Hunter prototype WB 188, later painted red and converted to the record breaking Mk F3 flown by our late Honorary President Neville Duke.
Michael is seen here at the Museum with his painting of the prototype Hunter standing in front of the record breaking WB 188.
