On Monday 11 November 2019 the Museum’s annual Armistice Day Remembrance Service was held in the Memorial Garden.
In beautiful early winter sunshine, the service was conducted by Reverend Trevor Marshall, Vicar of St Andrew’s Church, Tangmere and was attended by many members and friends of the Museum.
The music was again provided by the Worthing Silver Band and one of its members, Jim Harwood, gave an excellent rendition of the ‘Last Post’.
The Museum’s Chairman, Group Captain David Baron OBE, delivered the exhortation and the Museum’s Director, Dudley Hooley and a pupil from the local Tangmere Primary Academy took part in the wreath laying ceremony.
