Armistice Day Service

November, 2016

On Friday 11 November 2016, the Museum’s annual Armistice Day Remembrance Service was held in the Memorial Garden. In beautiful early winter sunshine, the service was attended by many members and friends of the Museum with Farther Derek Humphrey once again conducting the proceedings. Music, including an excellent rendition of the ‘Last Post’, was provided by the Worthing Silver Band.

The Museum’s Chairman, Group Captain David Baron OBE, read the citation and junior school pupils from the local Tangmere Primary Academy took part in the wreath laying ceremony.
