On 25 September the Museum’s Curator, David Coxon, gave an evening talk at the Museum to members of the ‘Friends of Valletta’, a society recently set up to support the twinning between the city of Chichester and Valletta, Malta.
David gave a forty minute illustrated talk on the ‘Air War over Malta 1940-1942’, a battle in which some of the pilots who took part, had flown with the Tangmere Spitfire Wing in 1941. After the talk, the audience, including the Mayor of Chichester, Ann Scicluna, took the opportunity to look around the Museum.
