4 New Tangmere Booklets

February, 2008

The popular series of booklets produced exclusively for the Museum by the Museum’s Education Department has been expanded to 10 by the publishing of a further 4 titles. These are:

• Tangmere and the World Air Speed Record
Titles of the other 6 Booklets are:

• A Brief History of RAF Tangmere and its Satellite Airfields Westhampnett and Merston

These books are extremely good value at just £2 each and available only from the Museum shop.

Talks by Tangmere

The Museum is able to offer speakers to interested groups or societies on a range of subjects connected with the history of operations at RAF Tangmere and other military aviation subjects.

Museum Development

The Museum car park has been enlarged and re-laid and audio guides provided with the assistance of LEADER – the European Agricultural Fund for Redevelopment.
