Friends of the Museum

The museum has a number of regular supporters, known as the Friends of the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum who are entitled to:

  • Unlimited personal free entries for 12 months
  • A copy of ‘Talking Tangmere‘ magazine, published twice a year.
  • Invitations to certain museum organised events during the year.

Cost of Annual Membership:

  • Individuals: £25.00
  • Seniors: £18.00
  • Family (Two adults & two children): £40.00

One-Off Payment:

  • Individual Life Membership: £250

Talking Tangmere Back Numbers

Back numbers of the Friends’ magazine Talking Tangmere from Spring 2021 onward are now available online in electronic ‘flipbook’ format HERE.

Please note the current edition is for members of the Friends of Tangmere Aviation Museum only; it will appear after the next edition is published.

The Tangmere Logbook Back Numbers

Between 2007 and 2017 the magazine of the Friends of Tangmere Military Aviation Museum was edited by the Museum’s then archivist, Dr Reg Byron and was known as The Tangmere Logbook. A complete set of back numbers is now available to read online or download HERE.

Talks by Tangmere

The Museum is able to offer speakers to interested groups or societies on a range of subjects connected with the history of operations at RAF Tangmere and other military aviation subjects.

Museum Development

The Museum car park has been enlarged and re-laid and audio guides provided with the assistance of LEADER – the European Agricultural Fund for Redevelopment.
