Open Day Sunday March 9th

The Museum’s annual Open Day will take place on Sunday March 9th this year. Entry will be free of charge all day long making it a great opportunity to come and sample the many delights on display at the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum. Opening time will be 10am and closing will be at 5.30pm. Car parking will be on the airfield and this is also free. Full café facilities will be provided as usual and there will also be tables and seating outside for those that wish to use them. Last year’s event was a great success with over 1600 people attending on the day and we are looking to achieve a similar response this year.
The Museum’s new President, Duncan Simpson, will be in attendance on the day and will be available to sign autographs. Duncan was a former Chief Test Pilot of Hawkers and, as such, played an important role in the development program for the Harrier aircraft, a version of which, the Sea Harrier, is the latest addition to the Museum’s line up of display aircraft.
Do come and join us, it’s a great day out and we’d love to see you!
