New Cold War Touch Screen

A new touch screen on the ‘Cold War’ has recently been installed in the Meryl Hansed Memorial Hall. The joint work of David Coxon, the Museum’s Curator, and Pete Pitman, Deputy Curator (Projects), it provides a wealth of information, photographs and videos covering the UK ’s nuclear deterrent – the V-Force – the Berlin Airlift and Britain’s defence posture during the period.

The photograph depicts the Museum’s Chairman, Group Captain David Baron, trying out the screen with Pete Pitman looking on.
