A team of nine Royal Navy aircraft technicians from RAF Cottesmore visited the Museum from 12th to 15th September to carry out work on our Sea Harrier. Victims of the decision to withdraw the Harrier from RAF/RN service with effect from the end of last year, these personnel offered to provide assistance whilst awaiting reassignment. Their contribution over the four days was of inestimable value and we were most grateful to them.
The Tangmere Museum has 3 computer-controlled Flight Simulators for visitors to ‘fly’.
From 19 July 2021 until further notice, face coverings must be worn when using the flight simulators.
