Flybys

One that happened and one that didn’t!

The magnificent Avro Vulcan diverted on its course from Bournemouth to the Shoreham Air Display on August 23rd to overfly the Museum. Always a great sight to see we wish them every success for the future.

Also scheduled to give a display overhead the Museum earlier in the month was the Eurofighter Typhoon from 29 Squadron. Sadly a last minute unservicability issue prevented this from taking place – so we’ve used a shot we took of the Typhoon when it did appear at Shoreham, where the Museum’s stand sold nearly £600 of merchandise over the two days. It all helps!
