One that happened and one that didn’t!
The magnificent Avro Vulcan diverted on its course from Bournemouth to the Shoreham Air Display on August 23rd to overfly the Museum. Always a great sight to see we wish them every success for the future.
Also scheduled to give a display overhead the Museum earlier in the month was the Eurofighter Typhoon from 29 Squadron. Sadly a last minute unservicability issue prevented this from taking place – so we’ve used a shot we took of the Typhoon when it did appear at Shoreham, where the Museum’s stand sold nearly £600 of merchandise over the two days. It all helps!
