Defence Academy Visit
On 6th April students of this year’s Higher Command and Staff Course at the Joint Services Command and Staff College visited the Museum as an element of their “Staff Ride” whereby members visit military establishments in the Portsmouth area before embarking on a tour of the D-Day battlefields in Normandy. This is the third such visit and in recognition of it having become an annual event the Course Director, Commodore Keith Winstanley, presented our Curator, David Coxon, with a commemorative plaque (pictured) – which is now on display in the Neville Duke Hall.
