Defence Academy Visit

On 4 April, forty-seven students and staff of this year’s Higher Command Course at the Joint Services Command and Staff College, Shrivenham visited the Museum as an element of their ‘Staff Ride’ whereby members visit military establishments in the Portsmouth area before embarking on a tour of the D-Day battlefields in Normandy. This is the fourth such visit to the Museum and the Course this year was accompanied by the College’s Commandant, Air Vice Marshal Ray Lock, a former Tornado pilot.
