Blitz at Tangmere

Lionel Bart’s musical ‘Blitz’ is to be performed by Sussex Musical Productions in nearby Worthing in May. It tells the story of two London families during the blitz in WW2. The chorus of 30 children aged between 6 and 12, who in the production play two ‘gangs’ known as the Spitfires and the Hurricanes, attended the Museum last month for some publicity photographs in front of our Spitfire and Hurricane and whilst there performed two numbers from the show.
